The Banana was the first piece I designed. I felt that it was important to have a sense of humour about our assistive devices. I made a T-shirt to go with the banana that read "I can't hear you, I have a banana in my ear." I guess I felt that if people can see that I am comfortable with my aid and my hearing loss -that they would be more comfortable with me. I also really believe that they need to be seen, and that means they need to look nice too!
